Generate - NeuroDotVr
Generate is a Student run product development club at Northeastern University connecting engineering students with clients to develop prototypes and help bring products for market. As a member of the Build studio, I worked with a team of engineering students to commercialize a headset for optometrists to diagnose eye conditions and diseases like glaucoma.
From September - December 2017 I reverse engineered the Google Daydream and developed a cad model that we could adapt to our needs.

Outer Headset
The Outer headset had two major design constraints
Fit the lens insert snugly.
Fit the face cushion that came with Google’s headset.
Lens Insert
The Lens Insert had Design Constraints
It needed to fit inside the assembly snugly.
All of the dimensions dictating the position of the lenses had to be consistent with the Google Daydream.
